Petros Adamides

Born in Famagusta in 1948. He was living in Famagusta until 1974 when due to the Turkish invasion he left together with his family and moved temporarily to Larnaca. In 1978 he moved to Nicosia where he is living until today.

He studied Economics at the University of Athens from where he graduated in 1974.

He worked as a Marketing Manager until 1980, when he entered the Insurance Industry. He served the industry from various positions and at the present he is partner and Managing Director at an Insurance Brokers company.

He is married to Lefki, who is working at the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Cyprus. He has two children Eleni and Nicolas. Eleni is a holder of an MBA degree and is working, while Nicolas has just completed his Master’s degree in Risk Management.

Petros became a Rotarian in 1996 and he is a chartered member of his Club. Prior to becoming President he served the Club from various positions.

Phaedon Stylianides

Born in Limassol Cyprus but was raised in Famagusta until 1974 when TURKEY occupied the city.
He studied at the UNIVERSITY OF ATHENS where he obtained degree in ECONOMICS.
He is running a number of private companies mainly in the field of BROADCAST TELEVISION EQUIPMENT SUPPLY.
Phaedon Stylianides has been a Rotarian since 1991, first with the ROTARY CLUB OF FAMAGUSTA and since 2000 with the ROTARY CLUB OF NICOSIA-SALAMIS.
During these years he held positions both at Club level as well as at DISTRICT 2450 COMMITTEE and SEROK level and attended a number of DISTRICT CONFERENCES.
PHAEDON is married to ELLI, who is a Member of Inner-Wheel Club of Famagusta and of the Inner Wheel District 96 Committee in the position of Service Organizer.
Phaedon and Elli have two daughters, Nicole (25) and Stella (24).
